Today I will show you how I created this layout.
I used the supplies from the creative kit over at My Creative Scrapbook!
First I used a piece of white card stock from my stash for the base. I then cut a square out of the green pattern paper.
Then I flipped the green pattern paper center over and used this piece as the center background paper. This is a fun way to be able to use both sides of the pattern paper when you like both sides and can't choose.
Using the pattern paper with the ruler print , cut the strips of the ruler out and apply them as shown. I also cut into the boarder paper and cut out the note part and tucked that into the left side of the ruler paper strip.
Then I added two matts from the two more pieces of the pattern paper as shown. I also made hearts and layered lace under it as a boarder and buttons to accent the top. I used the chipboard banner at the top left and cut out the banner from the paper to use at the bottom right corner of the layout. I then fussy cut the flower cluster from the floral paper to add in the same corner.
Here is a few close ups..
As you can see on the finish layout I added some stickers near the photo and a title using stickers as well above the photo. I also added a piece of 4x6 pattern paper behind the photo to give it a pop of color.
I hope this tutorial was easy to follow and you can recreate it yourself. Be sure to pick up your kit at My Creative Scrapbook!
