Hey Everyone....It's time for Sketch #2 of our Big Sketch Contest of 2011 over at My Creative Sketches Blog... We have more fabulous Prizes to give away!!!

Are you ready for the details?
SKETCH Contest
Starting Oct. 20 Ends Nov. 20 (midnight est time USA) Anyone, Yes, Non-Kit Subscribers are encouraged to play along too.

Each month for 3 months beginning Sept. 17 we will provide a sketch (designed by Kim Keane) for you to create a LO. This means you will get a different Sketch in Sept., Oct., and Nov. to create a LO. There will be a different blog post for each month to load your LOs for judging. There will be 3 winners and 3 prizes each month. The first winner will be judged and chosen by the Design Team and then Pam will draw 2 random names for a prize... yes, each month. We ask that you only have one entry per month or per sketch. Everyone that creates a LOs with all 3 sketches will be eligible for another PRIZE...yes...even another PRIZE......the "GRAND" Prize....and the winner for this will be randomly drawn. BUT to qualify for the Grand prize, you must upload all 3 of your LOs on Your Blog or in the MCS contest gallery and link them here in the Link attachment on the MCS blog. Yes, the Grand Prize will be a random draw so it's any one's game at this point. So that means if you have missed a month of playing along then here is your chance to catch up and still qualify for the Grand Prize…Deadlines for each month will be given as we go along each month...Awesome Contest, right???

My October How did I do that Tips......

As you all may know My Creative Scrapbook Design team always do a how did I do that each month with there kits. This month This is what I did on a few of my layouts..

I wanted to use the Dusty Attic Chicken wire for more than just adding it to the page so I used it as a Mask and Glimmer mist on top of it to give this effect.

Another thing I did with this layout here...

Was For the Frame on this Layout...I Used my Crop a dile to Punch Three holes where the light dots where on the paper to give it that extra it needed... Then used pop dots to adhere it to the page...It really adds the right charm...

WEBSTERS ALL ABOUT ME!!!!

I did 4 Layouts with this Kit..
The first layout is of My father in law who passed away in July... I Thought this was the perfect papers to capture who he was...

The second layout is of my nephew Conor. Hes so Spoiled Rotten...

Here is the third Layout of mt sisters and I . One of my sister's is not in the picture as she was not here at the time. But I just loved the shutters and thought this picture would be great to add that too..

This is my last Layout using the LE Kit...

Here is my Neice on my Hubbys's side of the family.. Isn't se Cute!

Foe this layout I added som border strips and did some pleating...

Ok Thats not all... Here is the Main Kit Listed Below...
CRATE PAPER FARMHOUSE!!!

I did 4 layouts with this kit as well.

Here is the First layout I did of my Nephew's Girlfriend. She is such a sweet Girl. I am glad they have each other. Here I made a grid out the the pattern paper for my background and popped up the frame.

For my second layout I used my Best Friends picture. Every time she comes over you can bet shes in the fruit trees. I had to create this layout of her. That lil Fruit Snatcher...

For the Third layout I used my Nephew again. He loves to help in the yard. I used som pleating as well on this layout..I also used the dusty attic wire to used as a masked and sprayed that with Glimmer mist.

The last layout is of sweet lil Claire and her brother.. Love this picture...

Oh I must give you a little hint. Next month's Main and LE Kits will have more Dusty Attic pieces in it.. Shhh You did not get that from me....

My Creative Scrapbook is happy to announce:
The call is open from Sept. 17, 2011 through Oct.28, 2011.
We will announce the new Guest Design Team on our blog and in our forum on Nov 5, 2011.
We are looking to fill spots for Guest Design Team positions but hint, hint, we have chosen our permanent DT members from our past Guest DT members.
Within these positions we are looking for skills in creating layouts, mini albums, cards, altered items and sketches.
Once we have made our choices then we will announce it on our blog and contact you.
We want you…”if”…you are a creative, energetic, and ambitious and want to have fun creating with us.
Our Expectations of Guest Designers:
- Open communication skill.
- Consistent style and range and ability to design and showcase our kit supplies.
- Teamwork, cooperation and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to create layouts, cards and altered projects on a more experienced skill level.
- Ability to teach techniques with written instructions and/or step by step photos or video.
- Photography skills to produce clear and accurate photos of your projects.

Guest Design Team Requirements:
- Active participation in our forum including the message board and galleries. (This is a must for all.)
- 3 Layouts and 1 card/altered item per kit per month.
- Step by step picture or video tutorial to share with our members in our forum on a rotating basis using a kit.
- Head up challenges for our members in our forum on a rotating basis.
- Give a tip each month from a project you created using our kit.
- Note: We ask that you “not” Design/Guest Design for another kit club while with My Creative Scrapbook but MFG teams and Online Sketch sites…etc. are fine.

What’s in it for you?
- Each month you will receive a kit packed with the latest and greatest products to create with.
- We will post your projects in our Main DT Gallery.
- We will submit your DT projects to the Manufacturers for appreciation and exposure.
- We have a drama free environment and have lots of fun.
- You will be working with a great group of friendly and talented designers that work together to inspire and uplift one another.

If You haven't already you must go over to My Creative Scrapbooks and Check out this Fabulous Kit! I love getting this kit to work with everymonth Its Jam Packed with Goodies...
Here is what I have done with the kit!

I so Loved all the Fussy Cutting with this paper from Websters. I used My Copic Markers to color some of the Images that I cut out from the paper line. I also used Martha Stewart Punches on some Of My Layouts. Beautiful Kit! A Must Have....Be Sure to check out what My Fellow DT has Done using the same Kit! Gorgeous work!

Julys Main Kit Reveal

Girls Its that Time again to reveal July's Main Kit.
Here is what I have done with the Kit.....
I used Fabric Softener to make the little fans on the First Layout. I cut a Stip out and Loose Stitched the Bottom edge to gather. Then Stickled the top Of The fan. I also gather the lace in the kit to make the Flowers you see on top of the fan. This was a Fun Kit to work with. Be Sure to go to www.mycreativescrapbook.com to check out what the rest of the DT has done with this Kit. Amazing work in the Gallery!

April Limited Edtiton Kit-My Creative Scrapbook!!!!

Oh My what a gorgeous Kit Pam has put together. It Includes the Prima Madeline Line..
Awesome Kit to work with...A must have...
Here is what I did with the kit....

This layout is pictures I took of Camyrn. I did some hand stitching and lots of layering and I used the sheer ribbon and wrapped it around the circle ring I made.

Here I loved the papers ... There was a sheet that had block on it and I wanted to showcase that so I came up with this design...Did some fussing flower cutting and made it all come together...

Love flowers here I made a flower spray and stitched a circle with floss thread. I created a banner in the corner and twisted some ribbon at the bottom of the layout!

I so Loved this picture and this paper line has captured the beauty .... I did some pleating and lots of flower cluster as well. Also I did some spritzing with Tatter angels Glimmer Mist on the back ground. I did a demo on how I did this on My Creative Scrapbook's Forum soon to be posted...

Pam has out done herself on these kits... they all are a must have.. If you have not checked them out you must. You will not regret it!!

April Main Kit at My Creative Scrapbook!!!

Yes Its that time again where we are revealing the April Kits...
This month the Kit was the fabulous Bo Bunny -Gabrielle Collection in Honor Of Our Special Dt Memember Gabi!!! Her work is truly amazing....Inspiration Indeed.. Congratulations On having a Collection named after you...
Here is what I have done with this Gorgeous Kit.......

This layout I used a picture of My Grandmother and Me... I just though these papers captured the photo very well... The cameo in the kit was just perfect!

Here is a photo of My Niece Gabriella
Rose. I just had to use her pictures since the collection had her name in it.
Here I used the lace in the Kit to give a ruffle effect around the circle and the did some hand stitching... The Chip Board was colored in with Copics in the lime Green shade.

In this layout I used a Photo Of My Niece Chloe. I just loved this picture and honestly shes always chasing something...
I did a little bit lacing on the right and some stickles on the butterflies..

This is a photo of My Beautiful Godchild Saira .Here I did a Circle and added a ruffle effect using my Martha Punch.. Love that Punch... I did a How too that will be posted in the forum on My Creative Scrapbook. So Stay Tuned to the forum..

March Reveal at My Creative Scrapbook!

Oh My its reveal day Here at My Creative Scrapbooks and I must say there is some amazing Layouts and project on the Design Team Gallery.. My First month I got play with the fabulous Team!
Here I got to work with the Limited Edition Kit. Its loaded with Websters Farmers Market Goodies...This is a must Have...

Just look at the gorgeousness in this Kit.. I trimmed the edges of the envelop with Gold stickles. I also Colored in My Flourish with a Gold Copic Pen to pop out more Gold.. I wrapped String around each Jar to give them some pop as well.If you look Closely I used Studio white Paint and trimmed the edges of my paper and Photos with a thin Brush stroke.

The Pictures was Perfect for this paper...

This layout I choose to use a Old photo Tim's Grandparents. They where farmers back in those days and what perfect paper line to bring out there heritage..

Here I used the envelopes to store my tags in. I added lots Of Journaling on these tags..

For the Berries to Pop them Out I stickles dots on each berry give it the real look to me..
Also for the Bucket I made it look Like real water using Copic Marker and Glossy accent. You can learn more on The How did they Do That Thread on the Forum .

My next Layout was done of My Friend Jamie. She was near the Bayouside here in my back yard and I thought the windmill was perfect for that photo..

I did some curling of the paper,Some hand cutting , And lots of Distressing..
I also Used the Prima packaging to
make the Frame you see on the layout.

Ok My last Layout is of My Nephew Conor playing at the park recently...

For this layout I added Hand stitches around each square and then sewed a button in the center.
I used my Martha Stewart Punch and made a border and used it as a ruffle (which is in blue).
The Flowers was made with a few Mcgill's punches..
Quick Tip : If you run out of Letters don't forget you can use the negative parts of your sticker sheet...Like I did..

Last I made this cute Mother's Day card.I used a envelope and covered it with some paper . Used the bags that the flowers came in and cut it to form a seed bag and add it in the pocket. The Lillies was made using a few Mcgills Punches as well...

Altered 4x6 Photo Tray

This is the tray I had worked on that I could not post yet as it was a gift for my friend on her birthday... I finally got to give it to her and she loved it..words can't describe how grateful she was.. I was so happy she like it.
I altered the Photo Tray with My Creative Scrapbook kit that I received in the past. It was perfect fore her..I did add one or two things that was not in the kit but it was not much.

OK, Just because so many of you have asked so many times…

My Creative Scrapbook is happy to announce:

“Our First Ever Public Guest Design Team Call”

The call is open from February 16, 2011 through March 16, 2011.
We will announce the new Guest Design Team on our blog and in our forum on April 5, 2011.

We are looking to fill spots for Guest Design Team positions but hint, hint, we have chosen our permanent DT members from our past Guest DT members.
Within these positions we are looking for skills in creating layouts, mini albums, cards, altered items and sketches.
We would like to have 2 Guest designers per month and we are hoping to find enough fantastic designers to create with us for 6 months. So that means that we need 12 Guest Designers total. Once we have made our choices then we will assign each Guest Designer their month.
We want you…”if”…you are a creative, energetic, and ambitious and want to have fun creating with us.

Our Expectations of Guest Designers:

- Open communication skill.

- Consistent style and range and ability to design and showcase our kit supplies.

- Teamwork, cooperation and the ability to meet deadlines.

- Ability to create layouts, cards and altered projects on a more experienced skill level.

- Ability to teach techniques with written instructions and/or step by step photos or video.

- Photography skills to produce clear and accurate photos of your projects.

Guest Design Team Requirements:

- Active participation in our forum including the message board and galleries. (This is a must for all.)

- 3 Layouts and 1 card/altered item per kit per month.

- Step by step picture or video tutorial to share with our members in our forum on a rotating basis using a kit.

- Head up challenges for our members in our forum on a rotating basis.

- Give a tip each month from a project you created using our kit.

- Note: We ask that you “not” Design/Guest Design for another kit club while with My Creative Scrapbook but MFG teams and Online Sketch sites…etc. are fine.

What’s in it for you?

- Each month you will receive a kit packed with the latest and greatest products to create with.

- We will post your projects in our Main DT Gallery.

- We will submit your DT projects to the Manufacturers for appreciation and exposure.

- We have a drama free environment and have lots of fun.

- You will be working with a great group of friendly and talented designers that work together to inspire and uplift one another.

- 3 Layouts and 1 card/altered project that bests represents your style. Files should be 500 pixels.

Just a quick Hello to you all.. I been scrapping and cleaning and trying to make do with this crazy weather we been having..... I have done 2 layouts and a 4x6 Photo Tray which I can't post yet.. Trying out for a DT call and I have to keep them hush hush for now..
My Hubby made me a new Entertainment Center whoo hooo.. Took a picture of it and want to share it here for you all to see..but excuse the flash in the TV .Gosh I love that talented man...

Its hard to tell in the picture But I layered the roof pieces to make it look like layers and the Top of the Roof Opens to add treats inside. You can hang these in your Tree or use them as tags for Gifts or hand them out Just like that...

Here's a Cute little Christmas Box using the SVG File from 30 Boxes and More from MyScrapchick.com. I also used the Poinsettia Flower and Leaf design File Along with the Tags.

For my take on the Sketch I used Old pictures of my Grandparents. Not sure if it is cause of the old pictures are cause my pictures are not flat as there is some bumpy under it but it gave it a glare when taking a Photo of my layout. Sorry about that.
I used Graphic 45 papers, Prima Flowers, and Muslin as a mat behind my pictures then I added Glimmer mist too the muslin to get that aged look I wanted... Used Buttons and SVG File from MyScrapchick which is the leaves....Did lots of distressing as well..

My Niece has a Birthday Oct 12th and she will be 3 years old.My poor baby is growing up..
I have decided to make her a gift bag and full it with goodies and I also made her a Color Box and a Frog Book to doodle in. Of Course she has lots of other gifts but this is some that I handmade items using MyScrapchick's Files.

They just have the Cutest Files I tell ya... I have been redoing my flower beds this week. My Neighbor is a landscaper so I had her come over and we redid a flower bed and have more to go. This is what inspired me to make this layout with these Cute Garden Fairy Files.
I normally never really do 2 page layouts but Guess what I did this Time. I did not add the pictures to it yet as I am not finish with my Flower beds and I will come back and add the pics once I am done. Who Knows I may come back and post that as well..

My Great Grandmother

I did a Layout of My Great Grandmother Using a past My Creative Scrapbook kit..Love there Kits...
Anyways As you can see the Picture isn't the best as I got this form another family member who dug around in some old pictures that was past down.
I have never known her neither did my Grandmother. She Pass on when my Grandmother was 3 months old.
So This is something that excited me when I was givin this picture.
I do Know my grandmother was the baby of My Great Grandmother Sarah. She did have 2 Older brothers and was told she has Stepbrothers and sisters as well as my Great Grandmother was married before marring my Great Grandfather. We do not see any of them and I was told there might be some of the younger siblings alive still today..
It's really a treasure to get to see family that you wasn't around to see...

Bet you was wondering what I was up to all this while..lol
Well I have been trying to organize a baby shower for my Little Sisters First Baby!
Its a Girl!!! Her Name will Be Emmie Grayce.
Emmie was Choosen after my grandfather that Passed away 3 years ago.His name was Emile ; who we sadly Miss still Today..He would be proud!!!
Well I just have to show you what I did. I used the 30 Boxes and More File from http://www.myscrapchick.com/. I choose the Popcorn box with Lid #13 to make these cute lil party favors . Instead of popcorn I used dinner mints to fill them up. See how versitile these lil boxes can be. By Purchasing this file you have 30 items to choose from.. Not a Bad deal at all... Be Sure to check them out.
I had made 25 of these Lil Boxes..Along with other things of Course. But I wanted to chare these Cute lil Boxes with you.. Oh and my Darn cutter does not want to cut and I have no idea why so I did cut all 25 by hand. Wasn't bad at all..

What! Late for Chocolate?

Gosh I would never want to be late for Chocolate! Phew..
Well Mo Manning had a Freebie called (Late). It was a Adorable Little Bunny thinking he was late for Something and I turned it into something fun.
Lisa over from the Magnolia Group posted one of these trinket boxes and when I seen it I knew I had to Try it.
So heres what I did..

Inside the card I added a Cute lil Poem.. I love the pleasure of chocolate

As it melts upon my tongue

It dribbles all through my mouth

And squishes around my gums

I close my eyes for a moment

As my senses are quite aware

Of the delicious wondrous flavor

Of chocolate lingering there

There are so many chocolate flavors

The dark and the medium too

White chocolate is truly scrumptious

Just perfect, my friend, for you

So whenever you need something sweet

You must try this simple treasure

Just pop a morsel into your mouth

And enjoy some chocolate pleasure!

Isn't this the Cutest... It reminds me Of Mardi Gras! I added Prima Flowers to my card and Ribbon to jazz it up a bit..
My Glitter was used on the mask and the Ruffles on her dress. I even added some on the Top part of her dress as well. I know its hard to see but I tryed to capture it all.

Here is a close up to the card. You can see the glitter on the mask more than the dress..I used Ranger's stickles (star dust)!Pattern pap[er is some Basic Grey Eerie Collection.

I stumbled across a Group called Phindy's Place and had to get some of her Digi Images... They are too Cute! I love the Cuteness in them all..

While I was checking the group out I notice they was have a Challenge and the Deadline was tonight. Sooo You guess it I could not resist so I choose a Image and started coloring... The Challenge was to create something with the colors Orange, Blue, and Green... Easy Peasy....

I had decided to pull my poor sewing machine out again... Its been a while. Mind you I am no where near talented at the sewing machine, all I ever do is sew on paper.lol

I just think that lil boy is Cute as a Button..He kinda Reminds me of my Nephew Conor. Hes always eating cookies too!

Gosh What would it be like to be in wonderland.. I could not image.. Well Michelle Perkett had me thinking about it as she did a wonderland challenge that is Due tonight at 7PM PST. You are to use her Digi of course and make a card that makes you feel like wonderland. I choose the digi called Enchanted Slumber for Michelle's Esty store.
To me what wonderland feels to me is sparkly and glitter faires flying around Flowers all around with a water fall streaming and everything is so Graceful..
